On Wednesday 13th February 2013, we hosted a Parliamentary Reception for Student Volunteering Week.

Our keynote speaker was Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society. The Minister spoke about the value that student volunteers can bring to communities and the vital role they have in building a stronger society.

The event provided a fantastic environment to build on the support for student volunteering and to challenge perceptions, as we showcase the incredible impact that student volunteers make across the country.
